Licensed Professional Counselor
Let’s be honest, asking for help is never easy, and talking to a stranger about our problems is even harder. We are often taught to keep problems to ourselves or told to “just get over it.” However, sometimes “just getting over it” alone is not realistic and we need help.
Taking that first step and finding a counselor can initially be challenging and scary, but also deeply rewarding and helpful. Counseling is a collaborative approach between the counselor and the client, requiring
patience, honesty and effort from both parties. I believe that one style of therapy does not fit everyone. Therefore, I strive to understand what works for you and provide a tailored approach to help you achieve your goals. I aim to establish a safe, fun, nonjudgmental place for you to explore the problems affecting you and to help you overcome the hurts and hang-ups that may be holding you back.
Together, we will explore how to overcome these hurts by resolving problematic thoughts and interactions with others. I love helping people grow and gain a better understanding of themselves and I love what lessons of strength my clients teach me.
Treatment issues include:
Grief and loss
I provide individual, couples, and family therapy and primarily work with adults but see clients as young as 14.

Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance. Please be aware that most plans have co-pays and deductibles or may place limits on the number of sessions per year. You are responsible to pay for unmet deductibles and any services rendered that are not paid by your insurance. I encourage you to check coverage with your provider by asking the following questions:
Do I have outpatient mental health benefits?
How many sessions per calendar year does my plan cover?
What is my deductible and what portion has been met?
How much is my co-pay, co-insurance? (we can discuss what these are if you are uncertain)
Does my plan require approval by a primary care physician?
In order to maximize time to discuss your concerns in our first session, please use link below to download, print, and complete the intake paperwork prior to your initial appointment. Appointments last 55 minutes.
The following two documents are yours to keep. They are your HIPPA and consent/confidentiality papers. You will sign documents in the first session stating you were given these. I advise you print them for your records.
